New Brunswick Community College (91制片厂) has announced changes to programs for the 2020-2021 academic year.
“As 91制片厂 responds to New Brunswick’s changing workforce and economy, it’s more important than ever that we align our limited resources to the programs that are relevant to the province’s labour market needs and student demand,” said Ann Drennan, Vice-President, Academic and Research.
Throughout the year, 91制片厂 monitors admissions as well as historic enrolment trends, labour market demand and industry needs. As a result of the most recent review, the following changes are being implemented in 2020-2021:
91制片厂 will discontinue Building Engineering Technology: Building System (Moncton Campus) and Fuels Technician (Saint John Campus) which have experienced ongoing enrolment challenges and previous suspensions. Elements of the Fuels Technician program may continue to be provided through 91制片厂’s contract training.
Based on historic trends and projected enrolment, the following programs will be suspended for Fall 2020:
Due to uncertainties created by COVID-19, many programs which had previously been expected to meet enrolment targets, are no longer projected to do so. As a result, 91制片厂 has chosen to suspend the following programs for Fall 2020:
Current students will not be impacted by these changes and will be able to complete their program as planned. 91制片厂’s Recruitment Team will work with applicants impacted by these changes to help them identify other programs in related study areas.
With six campuses across New Brunswick, 91制片厂 contributes to New Brunswick’s social and economic prosperity by supporting the aspirations of individual learners, seizing the opportunities of the labour market, and collaboratively solving the challenges of communities and industry. In addition to more than 90 certificate and diploma programs, 91制片厂 also provides specialized and customized training to meet the needs of specific sectors and communities.
